Website Design
I use WordPress.org as my CMS (Content Management System), there are others but this is my preference and it’s freely available to all.
I’m experienced in building online shops, membership sites and simple brochure sites. Check out my portfolio to see examples.
Prices
I know everyone loves to see prices!
I work on a project based fee, so what we agree at the point of contract is what you will pay. Some of my clients are small local business with simple needs, the budget for a small project is around £750-£2,500.
For larger businesses or sites that include a lot of pages or complex design work you will need a budget of £3,000+
Call or email me to let me know what you are after and I can give you a ball park figure on the phone or in an email.
Whatever we agreed on I guarantee that my rates are fair, I offer very good value for money and I promise it will be a wise investment for your business!
How does the process work?
After our first contact, I’ll set up a date with you to go over your needs. This can be a phone call or a video call via Zoom.
My preference is video as it’s easier to talk face to face and it’s always nice to see who you are going to be working with! I can also share my screen and go over some of the details that are easier to chat about when you can see them visually.
After we talk through your needs I’ll give you a full quote and contract so we both know where we stand before the work starts.
Before I start work you will need to sign your contract and pay a deposit. The deposit is usually 50% of the full fee.
The final balance is due before your new website goes live.
Who will look after the website?
If you want to look after the site once it’s built that’s fine with me, I can teach you how to amend text, add a picture, add blog posts and more. We can work out what you want to know as we go along!

How long does it take to build a website?
This does depend a lot on how much content the website has, and whether you have the content ready to go.
I’m happy to chat about timelines if you have a specific need. I can usually accommodate most time frames.
For a general ball park figure, you will need around 6-8 weeks from first contacting me to having your site go live. This is subject to you having all the text and images ready before we start.
Service Agreements
If you don’t have the foggiest idea of what to do to keep your website safe, running smoothly and virus free then you are in luck! as I’m here to take that burden for you and keep your website running beautifully and as an asset to your business!
My Service Agreements (retainers) include the hosting of your site, SSL certificate to give you that all important padlock in the url bar and hours of my time every month to help update, backup and add content each month.

Service Agreements start at £60 a month, this includes hosting, SSL and 2 hours help a month to up date content like a blog, galleries, portfolio or news pages etc.
Hosting & Emails
I offer hosting, email addresses and an SSL certificate as part of the Service Agreements but I also offer hosting on it’s own with 5 email addresses.
If it’s just hosting you need with a few email accounts then it’s £50 a year (payable in advance) and yes this includes the SSL. I know a bargain, right?!
